Do I Need A Licence To Sell Hello Kitty

fritole

The fritole are the typical Carnival sweets Veneto, this is a type of leavened pancake stuffed with raisins.
These were made by my mom today, are a tradition in my family, this recipe is in fact the same one that followed my great-grandmother to prepare them.
The hand you see in the picture (the whole dirty pencil) is of my granddaughter, which I call meatball:)
In Milan, the carnival ends on Saturday (with the traditional parade ) for which, although in all other cities is over, here we are still alive in the party.

Ingredients:
250 g of flour
20 g of yeast
1 egg
200 g of milk
2 tablespoons sugar
grated rind of ½ lemon
1 tablespoon brandy
60 g raisins
1 pinch of salt
frying oil

Preparation:
In a bowl dissolve the yeast with a little warm milk and a spoonful of flour, stirring constantly, add the egg , sugar, salt and remaining flour alternately with remaining warm milk. Stir until the mixture comes off in part from the spoon. Add the grated lemon rind, raisins and grappa (made previously soaked in a bit 'of warm water).
Let the dough rest for half an hour.
Take the dough by spoonfuls and fry in hot oil until fritole are golden. Sprinkle with sugar.
