Ingredients :
  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 250 ml water 150 g flour salt
  • 4 red peppers 1 can of pineapple in syrup
For the sauce:
  • 500 ml tomato puree 100 ml water
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • salt 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • pineapple syrup to taste vinegar to taste
First prepared by pouring the batter into a bowl the flour, water, salt and soy sauce. Mix well with a whisk so that no lumps are formed.
Let stand for at least 15 minutes.

Meanwhile remove the chicken breast sliced \u200b\u200bany excess fat and cut into small pieces.

Place the chicken in the batter and mix well. Let rest another ten minutes.


In a pan heat oil for frying. When it is hot, fry the pieces little by little, then set aside.



To prepare the sauce: In a pan pour
500 ml of tomato sauce, which add 100 ml of water, soy sauce and flour sifted, about half of the pineapple syrup and vinegar in equal measure.
Mix the sauce with a whisk and then cook for about ten minutes.
Cut the peppers coarsely and pineapple syrup. When the sauce is cooked, put it in a bigger pot along with peppers and pineapple. Cook about ten minutes, so the peppers are softened and then for another 5 minutes after adding the chicken.


This version of sweet and sour chicken is very good, a bit 'of the other more laborious but worth it! It was my second dinner for the Chinese Marco * _ *
