Courthouse On Woodhaven Blvd

Chatter

The carnival is approaching and here is a lightweight version of the talk, ideal for those who do not want to overdo it with the fried.
The recipe I read in the special issue of salt and pepper "sweet pancakes" bought these days on sale.

Ingredients: (Serves 6)
250 g of flour
50 g of sugar
25 g butter 2 eggs
2 tablespoons marsala
1 lemon 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking
icing sugar to decorate

Preparation:
Sift flour with baking powder, add sugar, grated lemon rind and vanilla, mix well and add eggs, butter and marsala, knead until dough is smooth and compact.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, giving a thickness of 1-2 mm, with a toothed wheel draw rectangles of 6x10 cm and practice within each two cuts parallel to the long sides. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, arrange the rectangles of dough and bake at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Once cool sprinkle with icing sugar.
